Dirk Smorenberg - Holland Loosdrecht 1883-1960 (Art Deco)

Self-taught Dirk Smorenberg (September 4, 1883 – September 14, 1960) is regarded as one of the few Art Deco painters of the Netherlands. He painted figures, flowers and, in particular, decorative landscapes and water lilies, drawing on the abundant water of the North Holland landscape for inspiration. Smorenberg was an independent and original painter.

I like how peaceful and content this painting looks. It reflects a sense of relaxation within nature somewhere you can just chill and enjoy the scenery.
